We spent a large extent of our afternoons in animal themed cafes, playing with a dozen of them and leaving our drinks to cool on the table.

There was a cats cafe at Myeongdong along with the dogs cafe but we decided to just visit the latter. The average price for such cafeterias would be 8,000 won for the first drink and probably another 3,000-5,000 won for the next cup if you wanted a top-up. Through my experience with the pets, none of them fancied cuddling or carrying. Walking away would be a calmer response but they might bite or scratch you if you got them really pissed.

Cats Cafe

Name:  고양이 다락방 Cat Attic

Address: Leave by the 9 exit of Gangnam Station. There will be a cat mascot nearby (that I played a prank on) directing you to the cafe or you could simply look out for the prominent sign on the building itself.

Sheep cafe

Name: Thanks Nature Café (양카페)

Address: (Seogyo Prugio Apartment store B121) 121 B1, 486, Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul-si

It wasn’t a long walk from the subway station but we had to keep a close lookout since the cafe was in the basement. But the ambience was great and exceptionally cosy on a cold winter day (:

We were quite guilty for leaving the cafe without eating anything, especially when the owner entertained us a little as well :\ Unlike the cats and dogs cafe, waffles and drinks were sold.
